What better way to celebrate a new website than a new blog post?! Now, we all know that I am not the best at posting on social media so this blogging may be few and far in between but dang it feels good. I want to kick off this new website by telling you what you can expect from a session with me! But first, let’s take a look at this gorgeous family’s studio newborn session!.
Did you know that about 2 years ago, I opened up my home studio in Flower Mound, TX? It has been one of the biggest blessings to my photography career. Being able to be a Flower Mound photographer and have this available for my clients is such an incredible feeling. Enough of me talking right? Let’s get to some photos!!
Being a Dallas newborn photographer, I have learned what I love most about newborn sessions and how to make that my own. I am not your typical DFW newborn photographer using large lighting and big posing, but I have learned that that is what makes my style so unique. In my next few blog posts, I want to touch on just what you can expect from me when you book a family, newborn or maternity session with me.
Clothing-
If I ask what the most stressful part of a photography session is, 9 times out of 10 people will say, picking out wardrobe. When you book your newborn session with me, I am there for you from the beginning. We will discuss clothing options to start. I have a full client closet that is complimentary to use for all my Flower mound photography and surrounding area sessions. I provide all the wraps and outfits for baby as well as helping styling your family! I have a collection of children’s clothing and mens shirts as well! The studio is best complimented with warm, neutral or earthy tones. While outside sessions are the exact same but we can mix in more patterns and textures. My client closet is specially curated to fit what you see in my portfolio and social pages. The goal is for you to love your photos from the very beginning, even before your session! On the off chance you don’t find something you love, or we need to shop for other family members, I use a styling website that pulls from dozens of websites so you don’t have to! We can input the dress/ outfits from the client closet and see what other items look best alongside what we already have planned. It really is the most stress free way of planning your photo session.
My biggest goal is to take the stress out of photography sessions. I want you focused on loving on your beautiful children and living in the moment. So I have found that if I provide the clothing, the details and leave you to just bring yourselves, whatever baby needs to feed/ change and any other small things, it does just that! Leaves the stress out so you can really enjoy the moment. Long gone are the days of spending countless hours on the computer trying to find a dress that may or may not fit after baby. I mean, how stressful is that?!
I am so excited to meet even more of you as I continue this amazing photography journey! Please feel free to reach out with any questions you may have!
